A little while ago, I got my sister this book as a present. It seemed like a great idea at the time. She'd asked me a bunch of questions about the previous post I'd made about making bread. I'd been enthusiastic about this method and I guess I raved a little too much. She went right out and got the book for herself. Since she hadn't baked with it, I didn't know.
So now you get a chance at winning Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day. All you have to do is mention "bread" in your post. That's it! The drawing will be held Sunday. I'll ship this anywhere, so jump right in.
One note: this book isn't exclusively vegan. Many of the recipes are, but some of aren't.
Good luck! I'm looking forward to seeing all my fellow carb fiends get posting.
Editing for clarity: I mean in your comments post below. And be sure to check back on Sunday to see if you're the winner if I can't contact you through blogger. Thanks!

OH! I've been looking at this book for a while (I think I first read about it on your blog maybe?!). I love BREAD! There, does that do it? Although, admittedly, I haven't done much bread baking..eager to learn!
Bread. Breadbreadbreadbreadbread. I lost the cookbook that went with my bread maker so I need to learn to make it by hand. Great contest!
I love contests! And I have been wanting this book for a while--I have a friend who has it who raves and raves about it and the bread she has made. I love bread!

I was just at a BREAD class where Peter Reinhart discussed his methods, this book, and the NY Times method - pros, cons, differences, etc.
I have been hearing so much about this book! I would love to try it out and treat my friends and family to my bread creations!!!
I just got Reinhardt's "Whole Grain Artisan Bread" from the library! Of course, I haven't had time to experiment, but I've been drooling. My library doesn't have the 5 minutes a day book and I've been looking to buy it for a while. It'd be nice to not have to buy it!!
We have to mention bread in our post or in our comment? I'm confused! I love bread. I'll be making a post about some delicious bread I plan on making tomorrow. I don't even know what to call it, but it will have olives and pesto rolled into the middle. Yum.
Mmmm...bread. Fresh baked bread is just about the best thing ever.
I love this book (already have it)! The winner will be lucky!
I want that book!!! Oddly enough, my blog post today was about BREAD:

Does that get me extra points? :)
ummmmm...bread?
I flipped through this book at the library, but would love to be able to pour over the pages more thoroughly! thanks for the contest!
Bread is good! Thanks for sharing this book. I have been looking for a good bread book for a while.
Nothing makes me happier than the scent of bread baking the in oven. If my little wrists could take the daily knead beating I'd probably make fresh tiny loafs of bread 365 days a year!
I have just discovered your blog and I've tried several of your recipes since, with fantastic results! I have tried baking bread several times recently and its been awful. I am thinking of giving up, but your contest inspires me. Maybe bread is not totally out of reach. . . maybe . . . BREAD!!!
I love the book/method! good luck to everyone, the price is definitely worth it.
(prize)
brain transplant for me, please.
I confess I'm scared of bread. I have a breadmaker, it makes soft bread and it's an odd shape.
I once made sour dough bread starter. It consumed my life and I threw it out.
I would be breadfully happy if I won this breadcredible book and it turned my dreadful (err should that be breadful?) baking habits around!
PS. Sorry, I couldn't help myself :P
I've heard so much about this book. I am a huge bread lover and a huge bread maker. I make some loafs at least once a week and then I freeze them. Baking bread is so much fun.
Looks like I am moving to Ohio soon - hope they have good BREAD there!
bread, bReAd, BrEaD, BREAD! :) i figure the more i say it the better the chances of winning! ahahahahaaa! that's awesome of you to offer up the cook, Tami! wahoooooooooo!
Bread, Bread, I Love Bread!! Yummy!
Great comment. I've never understood how anyone couldn't lovvveee BREAD!
I would love this BREAD book. I am to the point where I don't want to buy BREAD from the store anymore...I can't pronounce the ingredients.
Great contest!
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrread!
This looks like a great book on bread. Can't wait to lay my hands on it.
For whatever reason, I am just not good at baking bread. I really try and really want to be good at it, but it just isn't the case. I would love to win this book!
i love bread! making bread and baking bread and slicing bread and spreading things on bread and eating bread. bread bread bread!
I'm just getting to know bread, from living a life mostly with rice. The no-knead bread recipe in the NY Times really had me hooked. I'd very much appreciate the opportunity to read about more quick easy breads. Thanks for the contest!
I've been wanting to try this book. The idea seems so great, and I'd be able to make homemade bread regularly. I always want that, but never have the time, etc. This method seems right to me, and I hope to try it out!
Bread is so awesome, yay for carbs! And I love baking it too, it's so great fresh out of the oven...
There is nothing better than the smell of homemade bread! I have also seen this book and would love it.
that's so nice of you to share the book! I'll leave the contest to others as I'm a terrible baker.
bread bread bread bread bread! HAHA! Thanks for the thoughtful giveaway, Tami!
I love baking bread and really want to try this method, don't always have enough time to start from scratch each time I want bread!
My husband and I love bread - I currently use a breadmaker but really need to learn how to make it by hand...
I love this book. I don't need to win it. I just wanted to chime in to praise it's awesomeness. OK, now I'm going to whip up a batch of dough.
I <3 bread! I would love to win this book. Thanks Tami!
While having major spinal surgery this past summer (2008), my son learned to make and bake bread, due to the fact I would be out of commission fer nearly 6 months.
He now prefers to make bread with his sister over his mom. Go figure.
