If you've noticed a lack of posts lately on my blog, it's because I'm rather book-focused these days. But it doesn't mean I'm not thinking about you, Dear Reader, I'm just not keeping up with reading your blogs as much as I'd like or posting to my own.
Check out this incredible package of peppers that the wonderful Veg-in-Training sent my way! I've never seen so many peppers in my life. The variety! The colors!I can't wait to start using these and am overwhelmed by her vegan kindness. (Don't tell her, but I'm trying to come up with a way to return her generosity.) I now have a Pepper Basket.

And one more thing: don't forget to comment about a vegetable on this post for a chance to win a copy of Local Bounty! I'll leave it open a little longer.
Happy Weekend!

Oh, I miss peppers and chiles so much. I hope to re-introduce chiles soon but those bell peppers are lost to me forever, I fear!
I didn't know the name of your cookbook...or didn't realize it, anyway. It sounds like the perfect name for your awesome recipes!

I love cookbooks! Especially veggie ones- can never have too many recipes :)
i have some peppers by that same brand that i scored at the food bank i think they are guadalajero (sp?) and i don't really know what to do with them. i've put a couple in the crock pot while making pinto beans, but i don't know how spicy they are. what a booty of peppers you have!
American Vegan Kitchen sounds like a great name! It sounds fantastic...I'm not an American, I'm a Vegan and I want to know more about American cuisine, so I'm totally buying your book.
