We had such a wonderful time at the book release party! Some old friends we hadn’t seen for years came, new friends I only knew through the online community, and people who simply became fast friends. Many thanks to all of you for coming and celebrating the release of Vegan Sandwiches Save the Day on such a perfect fall Sunday. We missed you being a part of it, Celine, and all of you who out in the internet world, too.

Silent book auction!
The silent book auction to benefit Lasa Sanctuary was very popular, thanks to the wonderful books donated by Fair Winds Press, Book Publishing Company, The Experiment, and Vegan Heritage Press.

Fantastic pizzas kept coming out of the restaurant and vanishing so quickly that there aren’t many photographs. If that’s not a compliment, I don’t know what would be. Chris even created some special mini spinach and cheese rolls for us.
