A Trip Back in MoFo Time

For today’s post, I’m borrowing Kittee’s wonderful idea to traipse through Mofos past on my blog. Ready?

In 2007, I was obsessed with recreating the Bordeaux Cookies from Pepperidge Farm.  They never turned out well, as my many posts show. By the way, I was still trying in 2010.

For 2008, my favorite post would have to be My First Tofu. I had serious tofu hang-ups until I tried this recipe. What a difference the right methods make! I will be forever grateful to Louise Hagler!

Even though there wasn’t a food photo on this post, it’s still one of my very favorites for sentimental reasons. Three generations of recipe cards are pretty cool!

Apparently, my first crack at canning was in 2009.

The photo on these Grilled Tofu sandwiches is absolutely horrendous, but damn, they are awesome sandwiches.

Posted in 2010, the same year American Vegan Kitchen was published, these Incrediburgers remain a favorite staple in our house.

I remember thinking that I was pretty clever when I posted this crossword puzzle I made for Mofo. And again I declared my love for those tofu balls!

My overall favorite post was Jim’s guest post in 2010!

In 2011, Liz and I did shared blog for the Mofo  month. We blogged together at After Horizons and had a lot of fun. My favorite post from that year would have to be Rich’s.  He graciously took time out from Vedge to share some thoughts with us.

After this trip down Memory Lane, be sure to enter to win a copy of Artisan Vegan Cheese. And don’t miss the wonderful bloggers taking part in our blog tour!

Your first tofu! So awesome, I’m guessing those are the tofu balls Isa loves too. I’ll have to get that cookbook!
